Bayer is seeking a Technical Agronomist III in the United States (Nebraska-based) to lead agronomic guidance for the local squad. You will partner with sales, product management, agronomy, and marketing to drive sales targets while applying deep crop know-how to position Bayer’s portfolio and support farmers with data-driven recommendations.

You’ll conduct field plots, analyze trial data, and promote digital tools for insight sharing.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in agronomy or a related agricultural or scientific discipline.
• Ability to travel up to ~60% with a valid driver’s license.
• Lift up to 60 lbs and work in field-based environments safely.
• Strong agronomic and technical knowledge across seed, trait, and crop protection.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve shared objectives.
• Excellent communication to educate teams and customers on product use.
• Ability to make independent judgments and deliver high-quality work.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and execute field-scale testing programs, including planting trials and data collection.
• Collaborate with seed dealers and growers to design trials and translate outcomes into recommendations.
• Provide technical support and training on seed, trait, and chemistry products.
• Communicate agronomic value and develop an Agronomy Plan aligned with squad goals.
• Build credibility with growers, dealers, and agronomists through face-to-face and digital channels.
• Lead local portfolio management and production forecasting for the territory.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and product stewardship for crop protection and seed products.
• Develop and execute an Agronomy Business Plan with internal partners to support sales targets.
