Job summary

AgVantage FS is seeking an Agronomy Intern to gain hands-on experience in field operations, IPM scouting, and crop monitoring. You will assist with facility and equipment maintenance, operate field equipment, and travel to customer crop locations to build professional relationships.

Ideal candidates are pursuing an Agriculture degree, in good academic standing, and comfortable with lifting 51–70 pounds, driving a company vehicle, and participating in required training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; basic understanding of production agriculture.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record; ability to travel independently.
• Occasionally exposed to extreme weather.
• Able to lift 51–70 pounds.
• Walk crop fields and conduct visual crop inspections.
• Willingness to participate in required training related to company policies.

Responsibilities

• Operate field research and crop monitoring equipment and technology for scouting.
• Assist with facility and equipment maintenance and repair.
• Visit locations and customers to build professional relationships.
• Document findings and reports for agronomy specialist and customers.
• Discuss results with agronomy specialist and customers to add value.
