Job summary

AgVantage FS in Iowa is seeking an Agronomy Intern to gain hands-on experience in field health monitoring and agronomy operations. You will work outside, use scouting equipment, and support field teams across Northern and Eastern Iowa.

You will visit FS locations and customers, assist with maintenance, and collaborate with agronomy staff to deliver accurate reports and valuable insights during training and on-the-job practice.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license with ability to travel as needed.
• Ability to lift 51–70 pounds and walk fields for inspections.
• Willingness to participate in required training and policy adherence.
• Basic understanding of production agriculture is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate field research and crop monitoring equipment for scouting.
• Assist with facility and equipment maintenance and repair.
• Visit FS locations and customers to build professional relationships.
