Job summary

AgVantage FS is seeking an Agronomy Intern to gain hands-on experience in field inspections, crop health monitoring, and customer service. You will work outdoors, assist with equipment maintenance, and travel to designated crop locations while learning IPM techniques and GPS-enabled scouting.

Applicants should be pursuing an Agriculture degree or equivalent, be in good academic standing, and be ready to participate in training programs that support agronomy operations and customer relations.

Qualifications

• Requires basic understanding of production agriculture and willingness to learn.
• Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license with ability to travel as needed.
• Demonstrates teamwork, customer focus and ability to follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular field inspections to monitor crop health and conditions.
• Document findings and prepare inspection reports for agronomy specialists and customers.
• Operate company vehicle to visit locations and assist with maintenance tasks.
