Job summary

General Equipment seeks an experienced field service technician to diagnose, troubleshoot and repair aggregate equipment in the Duluth, MN area. You will perform field repairs, rebuilds, startups, and inspections, while explaining operation and maintenance procedures to customers.

The role requires 3+ years in the aggregate industry, welding/fabrication experience is a plus, and you must have your own hand tools up to ¾ drive. Travel may be required; safety and DOT compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the aggregate industry.
• Welding/fabrication experience is a plus.
• Must have own hand tools up to a ¾ drive set.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot problems on aggregate equipment and perform field repairs with minimal supervision.
• Measure and replace crusher wear parts and screen cloth accurately.
• Perform inspections and maintenance per manufacturer specifications.
• Attend manufacturer and internal training sessions.
• Perform rebuilds on equipment components and systems.
• Complete all required paperwork and ensure DOT compliance.
