Job summary

Gudenkauf, a Congruex Company, seeks an Aerial Foreman to oversee field crews performing aerial construction, pole work, and cable installations. You will read field prints, direct equipment use, and ensure safety and quality on customer sites.

Experience with bucket trucks, ladders/gaffs, and team supervision is required; CDL A is mandatory. Travel and strong physical fitness are expected in this role.

Qualifications

• Experience working from a bucket truck.
• Climbing utility poles with ladders or gaffs.
• Experience reading blueprints/specifications.
• Use of hand tools and manual equipment.
• Knowledge of telecom construction (aerial/underground).
• Ability to travel.
• Physical ability to perform demanding outdoor work.
• Must have CDL Class A and prior management experience.

Responsibilities

• Place telephone poles and anchors.
• Operate bucket truck and other equipment.
• Perform aerial tasks: new cable installs, transfers, strand building, hanging, lashing.
• Dig holes, place cables, pull cables in conduits/open excavations.
• Climb poles or use aerial lift to place cables.
• Ensure work meets quality and safety standards.
• Read field prints; identify issues and plan solutions.
• Work on customer sites professionally and respectfully.
• Manage vehicles/equipment assigned and supervise team.
• Invoicing projects per company standards.
