Job summary

Heartland Coca-Cola Bottling Company is seeking an Account Specialist to manage in-person orders at accounts within an assigned geography. You will build strong customer relationships, provide excellent service, and ensure timely communication while merchandising products and maintaining POS displays.

Responsibilities include visiting accounts to place orders, managing inventory, rotating stock, and supporting store promotions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of one year of work experience required.
• Merchandising or retail experience required; knowledge of store ads and sale items preferred.
• Basic computer applications and technology skills.
• Pallet jack experience preferred; PIT certification required upon hire.
• Valid driver’s license, current vehicle liability insurance, clean driving record.
• PIT certification is required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Visit assigned accounts to create and transmit product orders and manage inventory.
• Build relationships with store personnel to ensure customer satisfaction and timely follow-up.
• Merchandise products and rotate stock; maintain POS displays and shelf allocation.
• Execute customer programs using provided files and tools for accurate orders.
• Maintain backrooms and manage trade breakage; keep areas clean and organized.
• Follow safety and time-recording procedures according to company policy.
