Job description

About Kiddom

Kiddom is transforming K–12 education by bringing high-quality curriculum, instructional tools, and student analytics together in one coherent system. We are building Learning Intelligence Technology (LIT), a new category that gives educators the infrastructure to plan, teach, assess, and respond to student needs. With Kiddom, educators spend less time managing administrative burden and more time delivering meaningful student instruction. Kiddom helps schools and districts deliver more equitable, effective, and adaptive learning experiences.

About the role

We’re looking for a Field Account Executive to join Kiddom’s California sales team. In this role, you’ll own the full sales cycle and build strong partnerships with K–12 district leaders. We’re looking for a relationship-driven, strategic seller who thrives in the field, knows how to navigate complex district sales, and is excited about making a meaningful impact in education. This role will cover Southern California territory.

What you’ll do…
  • Proactively develop new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, networking, industry events, social channels, and in-person engagement to build a strong pipeline of qualified district opportunities.

  • Lead discovery conversations with district stakeholders to understand instructional priorities, challenges, purchasing needs, and long-term goals.

  • Deliver engaging virtual and in-person presentations and product demonstrations that connect Kiddom’s solutions to specific district needs and priorities.

  • Own the sales process from initial outreach through negotiation and close, ensuring a positive and seamless customer experience.

  • Develop and execute a strategic territory plan across California, with a focus on driving district adoption of core instructional materials in Math, Science, and ELA.

  • Travel throughout the territory approximately 2–3 times per week to meet with prospects, customers, and key stakeholders.

What we’re looking for…
  • Experience: 8+ years of proven success in sales, particularly within K-12 education and curriculum.

  • Sales Performance: Proven success owning and delivering against an annual sales target of up to $2M, with a consistent history of meeting or surpassing revenue goals.

  • Sales Technology: Experience using CRM and sales engagement platforms such as Salesforce and Salesloft to manage pipeline, track opportunities, and drive an efficient sales process.

  • Relationship & Communication Skills: Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate value effectively and build credibility with a variety of stakeholders.

  • Customer-Centric Approach: Skilled at uncovering customer priorities, understanding complex needs, and developing trusted, long‑term partnerships.

  • K–12 Education Expertise: Knowledge of the education landscape and an understanding of the priorities, challenges, and decision‑making processes of school districts and education leaders.

  • Regional Travel: Ability and willingness to travel up to 30% throughout California for customer meetings, district visits, conferences, and other in‑person engagements.

What we offer
  • Full time permanent employees are eligible for the following benefits from their first day of employment:

  • 10 paid sick days per year (pro rated depending on start date)

  • Paid holidays

  • Paid bereavement leave

  • Paid family leave after birth/adoption. Minimum of 16 paid weeks for birthing parents, 10 weeks for caretaker parents. Meant to supplement benefits offered by State.
