About Kiddom

Kiddom is a groundbreaking educational platform that promotes student equity and growth by uniting high-quality instructional materials with dynamic digital learning. Through unparalleled curriculum management functionality, Kiddom empowers schools and districts to take ownership of their curriculum – resulting in learning experiences tailored to meet the unique needs and goals of local communities. Kiddom’s high-quality curriculum is layered with robust teacher and leader data insights to drive the continuous improvement of instructional decisions, school/district programming, and professional learning.

Kiddom builds technology enabling teachers and learners to unlock their full potential. Education technology is increasingly fragmented across various applications, undermining utility and causing cognitive overload, frustration, and ultimately, rejection. Kiddom is building a collaborative learning platform for educators to integrate content, curriculum, and analytics in one place.

We are looking for a Senior Technical Recruiter who will contribute to bringing strong technical talent to Kiddom's Product, Design and Engineering team. Kiddom's business is rapidly expanding and needs to scale our pace of product delivery in an effective and expedient manner. We need a senior recruiter who can develop a strong pipeline of candidates and manage the relationship with internal clients. This role works within the Talent team and reports to the VP of Talent. This role requires in-person office work in our San Francisco HQ.

Responsibilities
  • Own multiple search processes, from establishing position requirements up to building and managing a pipeline of active and passive talent
  • Proactively conduct research and investigate new ideas to create innovative sourcing strategies
  • Possess a strong focus on sourcing passive candidates through networking, cold calling, complex internet searches and research (ex: Boolean searches on various platforms)
  • Interact with candidates on social platforms and craft recruiting emails
  • Source active candidates from online databases, contact lists, internal databases, and employee referrals
  • Act as a search expert for a functional area(s) by understanding functional hiring needs, position specifications and search requirements
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to generate ideas, leverage resources and share information that facilitates an effective search process
  • Screen candidates for availability, interest level, visa status, salary range, relocation needs, basic qualifications; present relevant leads to the hiring manager
  • Develop talent pipelines for future hiring needs
  • Measure conversion rates, including numbers of passive candidates who turn into applicants, get invited to interviews, get offers and get hired
Qualifications
  • Proven work experience as a Talent / Technical Recruiter or similar role (8+ yrs) scaling growth companies
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, highly professional demeanor, with proven ability to take initiative and build strong productive relationships with hiring managers and candidates
  • Hands‑on experience with sourcing techniques and demonstrated sourcing skills (e.g. recruiting on social platforms and crafting Boolean search strings)
  • Tech savvy, with a good understanding of technical terminology and deep knowledge about technology industry in general, more specifically, companies, competitors, current events, etc.
  • Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs) and Candidate Management Systems (CMSs)
  • Ability to generate a high volume / high quality pipeline of candidates under very tight timelines
  • Flexibility and willingness to support multiple functions / business units
  • Quick learner and ability to think fast, capable of understanding many different profiles
  • Independent and self‑motivated, able to perform without constant supervision
  • Non‑technical sourcing experience would be a bonus
  • Willing to handle scheduling and initial outreach
  • Completed BS/BA
Benefits
  • The opportunity to make a measurable impact in K‑12 education
  • Competitive salary and equity
  • Health benefits: medical, dental, vision, disability and life
  • Flexible vacation policy
  • An inclusive, positive team culture
  • A passionate, collaborative team focused on building transformative education technology
  • Full‑time permanent employees are eligible for the following benefits from their first day of employment: competitive salary, meaningful equity, health insurance benefits (medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance), One Medical membership, flexible vacation time policy (subject to internal approval), average use 4 weeks off per year, 10 paid sick days per year (prorated depending on start date), paid holidays, paid bereavement leave, paid family leave after birth/adoption (minimum of 16 paid weeks for birthing parents, 10 weeks for caretaker parents), commuter and FSA plans

Salary range is dependent on geographic location, prior experience, seniority, and demonstrated role related ability during the interview process.
