Job summary

Paramount Contracting Inc is seeking an experienced Gate & Access Control Technician to service, install, and repair commercial gate operators and access-control systems across Southern California. You will diagnose issues independently, program LiftMaster operators, and work with MAX Controls systems on low-voltage wiring and control panels.

This field-based role requires strong troubleshooting skills, excellent client communication, and the ability to complete quality work from start to finish

Qualifications

• Experience servicing commercial gates and access-control systems.
• Hands-on experience with LiftMaster operators.
• Experience with MAX Controls or similar systems.
• Knowledge of low-voltage wiring and electrical components.
• Welding and fabrication experience.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and manuals.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Willingness to travel across Southern California.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, troubleshoot, and repair gate operators and access-control systems.
• Program and diagnose LiftMaster operators and MAX Controls.
• Perform low-voltage wiring and control-panel work.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues.
• Complete welding and light fabrication related to gates.
• Read wiring diagrams and blueprints.
• Maintain service documentation and reports.
• Communicate with project managers and clients.
• Follow safety procedures and travel to sites.
• Travel to job sites across Southern California.
