Job summary

AM/PM Door & Gate is seeking an experienced Commercial Gate & Access Control Technician to service and maintain automatic gates and access control across Los Angeles County. You will manage a daily route, diagnose issues, and communicate clearly with customers.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years of gate operator experience, familiarity with major brands, and the ability to read wiring diagrams. Position offers hourly pay and solid benefits, with a path for growth.

Qualifications

• 2+ years servicing commercial or multifamily automatic gate operators.
• Hands-on experience with major operator brands.
• Working knowledge of low-voltage controls and wiring diagrams; confident with a multimeter.
• Understanding of UL 325 entrapment protection requirements.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial doors, gates, and operators (sliding, swinging, and overhead).
• Service and replace access control components, keypads, card readers, and intercom systems.
• Work with automatic door and gate systems, including safety sensors and control panels.
