• Onboard the systems to DevOps CI/CD tools.

Akkodis is seeking a Fidessa developer for Contract (W2) with a client in Jersey City NJ- Hybrid - (3 days onsite in a week). Ideally, we are looking for candidates with a strong background in Fidessa developement, Fidessa server-side development, Equity, Trading, FIX Income, FIX Protocal, Front Office, Fidessa Product Suite: CASE, FBL, TOP (OMAR, TMAR, PMAC), PAIRS, NMS, FIX+, APAS, FDA

Pay Range: $65 -$70/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Location- Jersey City NJ - Hybrid - (3 days onsite in a week)

Duration- 12- 18 months (Contract)

Job Summary:

This role is for an experienced Fidessa developer in the Equities Cash Technology organization. The group supports institutional and retail equities trading desks and is responsible for developing, enhancing, and supporting multiple production trading applications built on the Fidessa trading platform. A successful candidate needs to have prior hands-on Fidessa implementation experience, in-depth knowledge of the Fidessa architecture, frameworks, and products, and proven track record performing product upgrades with complex onsite customizations. Hands-on FTW implementation experience is a strong plus.

Role Responsibilities

• 3+ years of core Java development experience
• Hands-on FDA and Sybase experience
