Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Jersey City is seeking a Fidessa-focused software engineer with 3+ years of hands-on Fidessa server-side development experience to support front office trading systems. You'll work on the Fidessa product suite (CASE, FBL, TOP, OMAR, TMAR, PMAC, PARS, NMS, FIX, APAS, FDA), integrate FIX messages, and contribute to design, testing, and deployments within an Agile environment.

Strong analytical skills and the ability to own multiple initiatives are required; experience

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Fidessa server-side development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Fidessa Suite: CASE, FBL, TOP, OMAR, TMAR, PMAC, PARS, NMS, FIX, APAS, FDA.
• Deep understanding of the FIX protocol and message flows.
• Scripting in TCL and Unix shell scripting.
• Experience on Linux and Windows 10 platforms.
• Experience with Agile SDLC and front office trading workflows.
• Strong understanding of equities trading workflows and market structure.
• Excellent analytical, design and integration skills.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain multiple Fidessa trading systems in Front Office.
• Integrate Fidessa components into the Bank’s tech stack for stability and performance.
• Upgrade Fidessa components to align with vendor releases.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts and development teams to meet requirements.
• Onboard Fidessa systems into DevOps CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
• Engage in system integration, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Ensure Agile SDLC adherence and deliver production-ready solutions.
• Understand equities workflows to support trading desks.
