Job summary

Akkodis is seeking a Java Software Engineer for a contract role in Newark, DE with a hybrid schedule (3 days onsite per week). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial services and extensive experience with Java/J2EE, Spring, and modern cloud and container technologies.

You will work on an agile team, update code with unit tests, provide development support, and contribute to proofs of concepts and production deployment plans, while collaborating with a team lead and

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge and expertise in container & cloud technologies like Kubernetes, OpenShift, AWS and Azure.
• Expertise in Java/J2EE technologies with minimum of 7 year of experience.
• Should have good knowledge of technologies like Spring, Spring Integration, Cassandra, Kafka, MQ, NOSQL & Restful services, WS-Security.
• Hands on experience on tools like Eclipse, IntelliJ, Splunk, Dynatrace & Autosys etc
• Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries (Oracle/SQL Server)
• Proficiency in writing complex Unix/Linux scripting
• Hands on experience on Code Quality Tools like JUnit, Sonar/Crucible
• Experience on modern development methodology including Agile

Akkodis is seeking a Java Software Engineer for a contract job with a client in Newark, DE (Hybrid - 3 days onsite per week). Ideally, looking for applicants with a solid background in the financial services industry and strong experience.

Rate Range

$60/hour to $65/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
