Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Director to lead strategic analysis and financial resource management for FICC, with responsibilities spanning balance sheet allocation, funds transfer pricing, and broker-dealer capital and funding.

You will collaborate with Corporate Treasury to deploy capital efficiently against strategic priorities. The role requires 8+ years in financial resource management or treasury within capital markets, strong modeling skills, and relevant licenses.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in financial resource management, treasury, corporate development, or strategy within capital markets or banking.
• Strong understanding of balance sheet management, funds transfer pricing, and regulatory capital/liquidity frameworks (LCR, NSFR, CET1).
• Experience with broker-dealer capital frameworks (SEC Rule 15c3-1) a plus.
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or CFA designation preferred.
• FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses required, or ability to obtain within onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Support the Balance Sheet Council with balance sheet allocation and liquidity analysis.
• Drive P&L attribution capabilities with desk- and product-level decomposition of revenues and funding.
• Develop capital attribution and allocation methodologies for risk-adjusted performance and resource optimization.
• Lead broker-dealer capital and funding analysis, including unsecured funding strategy.
• Partner with Corporate Treasury on FTP, lending, and holdco debt analysis.
• Support rating agency materials and BTIG integration from strategy and resource perspectives.
• Lead initiatives like the FICC Junior Talent Program and other franchise-building efforts.
