Altec Industries, Inc. in Osceola, IA is seeking a Fiberglass Operations team member to produce fiberglass bodies for the Osceola Body Plant. The role is bid-based and emphasizes safety, quality, and efficiency.

You will operate gelcoat, chop, and interior paint processes, use rollers and glue, and perform cutting tasks while maintaining high quality with minimal rework. A high school diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Eligible for operator roles: Gelcoat, Chop & Interior Paint; including rollers, glue, and cutting tasks.
• Work involves lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform fiberglass operations in the production of fiberglass bodies at Altec Osceola Body Plant.
• Adhere to PPE requirements and safety standards throughout the shift.
• Handle heavy lifting: regularly 25–50 lbs, occasionally 50+ lbs.
• Work with materials such as styrene, organic peroxide, and methyl methacrylate.
• Maintain high level of operator maintenance and ensure parts are not reworked.
• Assist with gelcoat, chop, and interior paint processes as needed.
