Job summary

NOV Fiber Glass Systems, a business under NOV, is hiring for an entry-level fabrication role in Andrews, TX. The position involves safe and quality fabrication of tanks and wastewater products for shipment to customers, following a Monday–Thursday, day shift, schedule.

Primary duties include applying fiberglass laminate, assembling and installing components, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment. Ability to read drawings and perform repetitive tasks is required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a drug screen & background check.
• Three years of verifiable work history preferred.
• Must be able to work overtime & shift work as required.
• Ability to adapt and learn all job duties as required.
• Ability to read drawings, instructions or repair and assembly operations.

Responsibilities

• Applies fiberglass laminate to tank components.
• Position and install fittings into fiberglass tank shells.
• Apply fiberglass laminates to complete tank structures.
• Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
• Completes tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision.
• Utilize safe work habits.
• Wear appropriate PPE.
• Comply with all NOV Company policies, guidelines, and procedures.
• Comply with all HSE policies, guidelines, and procedures.
• Comply with all Quality policies, guidelines, and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education

These DAY SHIFT positions are routinely scheduled Monday through Thursday, 7:00am - 5:30pm.

This entry-level position is located in Andrews, TX and ensures the safe and quality fabrication of our tanks and wastewater products before shipment to our customers.

Responsibilities

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Applies fiberglass laminate to tank components.
• Position and Install fittings into fiberglass tank shells.
• Apply fiberglass laminates to complete tank structures.
• Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
• Completes tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision.
• Utilize safe work habits.
• Wear appropriate PPE.
• Comply with all NOV Company policies, guidelines, and procedures.
• Comply with all HSE policies, guidelines, and procedures.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to learn technical repair and assembly guidelines and procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to read drawings, instructions or repair and assembly operations.
• Factory environment with large range in temperature changes.
• Standing, Walking, Bending/Stooping, Push/Pull, and Repetitive Movement up to 12 hours daily.
• Lifting weights up to 50 lbs. Regularly.
