Job summary

Latham, The Pool Company is hiring a Laminator to produce high-quality pool components using fiberglass and resin, ensuring proper application and finish. The role requires attention, coordination, and speed to keep pace with continuous material application.

You will roll materials with a hand roller on a 4–6-foot pole, trim excess, and verify tolerances. Training and safety procedures are emphasized, with opportunities for growth and skill development.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions, SOPs, and safety docs.
• Ability to adapt to production schedule changes, overtime, and shifting priorities.
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stay on feet for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Roll fiberglass and resin to specifications with proper saturation and air removal.
• Use MIL gauge to verify material thickness per production requirements.
• Trim pool copings and excess materials to specified dimensions.
• Gather and stage materials for shell production as needed.
• Place reinforcements and core materials per design and process requirements.
• Inspect parts prior to layup to ensure clean surfaces and quality.
• Lay woven mat and core materials accurately and efficiently.
• Complete QA forms and production documentation.
• Follow SDS/SOPs and safety protocols at all times.
• Train and assist others in rolling, mat-laying, and laminating techniques.
