Job summary

Latham, The Pool Company in Seminole, OK is seeking a Laminator to apply fiberglass and materials to pool surfaces with precision and care. You will use a hand roller on a 4–6‑foot pole to ensure even resin distribution, eliminate air pockets, and achieve full adhesion during spray or layup, while trimming excess material for tolerance compliance.

This full-time, on-site position requires attention to detail, coordination, and the ability to work efficiently to keep pace with applied materials.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written and verbal instructions (work orders, SOPs, safety docs).
• Flexibility to accommodate production schedule changes, overtime, and shifting priorities.
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Read, understand, and follow safety documentation and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Roll fiberglass and resin materials to specifications, ensuring saturation and air removal.
• Use MIL gauge to verify material thickness per production requirements.
• Trim pool copings and excess materials to specified dimensions.
• Gather and stage all materials required for shell production.
• Place reinforcements and core materials as designed for process requirements.
• Inspect and prepare parts prior to layup to meet quality standards.
• Lay woven mat and core materials accurately and efficiently.
• Complete QA forms and production documentation.
• Read SDS/SOPs and follow safety procedures.
• Train and assist others in rolling, mat-laying, and laminating techniques.
