Job summary

Explore Industries in Knoxville, TN is seeking a Fiberglass Detailing Specialist to join the yard operations team. You will inspect, detail, clean, and perform basic repairs on molded fiberglass pools and spas, ensuring a pristine product for shipment.

You will work outdoors around trucks and lifts, using hand and power tools, documenting inspections and repairs, and supporting on-time shipping while maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0-2 years in manufacturing, detailing, fiberglass/gelcoat work, auto body, or warehouse operations; training provided.
• Experience with fiberglass or gelcoat repair preferred.
• Able to work outdoors and pass respirator fit test.

Responsibilities

• Inspect pools and spas on and off trailers for cleanliness, damage, blemishes, and workmanship to ensure quality before shipment.
• Make basic repairs including sanding and buffing the finish.
• Clean, detail, and pressure wash products to deliver a pristine finish.
• Document inspections, repairs, and final release electronically.
• Control material usage and maintain a safe, clean work area; follow all safety practices around tools and chemicals.
