Job summary

Architectural Fiberglass, Inc. (AFI) is seeking a Chopper Booth Employee in Cleveland, OH. This entry-level position requires no prior experience; AFI will train you to check and calibrate spray guns, manage fluids for safe operation, and apply resin and chopped fiberglass to molds.

You will assist with gel-coat prep, monitor thickness, and help with general housekeeping and Supervisor requests. Competitive wages and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• No experience required; AFI will train you.
• Must be willing to learn and communicate professionally.
• Ability to follow supervisor instructions.

Responsibilities

• Check and calibrate spray guns.
• Check fluids for safe operation (MEKP and Acetone).
• Spray resin on the mold to soften the gel-coat, then spray (chop) the glass on the resin.
• Check thickness with mil gauge; repeat if needed.
• General housekeeping and other duties as requested by the Supervisor.
