Job summary

Alltex Staffing & Personnel is seeking an experienced Fiberglass Technician in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate has hands-on fiberglass skills and at least 2 years of relevant experience, including operating a chopper gun or gel coat gun.

You will produce high-quality fiberglass components, prepare molds, mix resins, inspect finished parts, and maintain tools while following safety procedures. The position offers a stable full-time schedule and competitive pay of $19–$20 per hour DOE.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of fiberglass experience.
• Experience operating a chopper gun or gel coat gun.
• Ability to read and follow production instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in a manufacturing environment.
• Reliable transportation.
• Good attendance and work ethic.
• Bilingual preferred.
• Energetic.

Responsibilities

• Apply fiberglass materials using a chopper gun or gel coat gun.
• Prepare molds, surfaces, and materials for fiberglass application.
• Mix resins, catalysts, and coatings according to specifications.
• Inspect finished products for quality, thickness, and consistency.
• Perform repairs, touch-ups, and refinishing as needed.
• Maintain tools, spray guns, and production equipment.
• Follow safety procedures and proper handling of chemicals and materials.
• Work with production teams to meet deadlines and quality standards.
