Job summary

Pratt Paper Mill is seeking a Fiber Yard Material Handler to operate forklifts, front-end loaders and Bobcats to stage materials for the paper production line. You will work outdoors, support inventory, and help ensure a continuous supply of raw materials while adhering to safety policies.

The role requires physical dexterity, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, basic math and data-entry skills, and a willingness to participate in ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Experience operating equipment including forklifts, front-end loaders and Bobcats.
• Physical dexterity and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong reading, basic math and data-entry skills.
• Willingness to learn and participate in ongoing training.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment to stage bails and loose raw materials.
• Manage inventory to keep materials organized and accessible.
• Support production by ensuring a steady supply of raw materials.
• Maintain safety by following all mill procedures, PPE and lock-out-tag-out rules.
• Communicate clearly with team and supervisor to maintain operations.
• Read orders, perform basic computations and complete documentation.
