Job summary

Pratt Industries, Inc. is seeking a Fiber Yard Material Handler to operate forklifts, front-end loaders, and Bobcats in our paper mill. You will stage bails and loose raw materials, manage inventory, and support production to ensure a steady supply of materials while following strict safety policies.

The role requires physical dexterity, the ability to read orders, and basic computer use. A 2–4 year degree is preferred, and rotating 12-hour shifts, including days and nights, are expected.

Qualifications

• Experience operating industrial mobile equipment including forklifts, loaders, and Bobcats.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and get on/off equipment.
• Strong safety mindset and adherence to PPE and lock-out-tag-out procedures.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts, front-end loaders, and Bobcats to stage bails and materials.
• Manage inventory to keep materials organized and accessible.
• Support production by ensuring a steady supply of raw materials for the mill.
