Job summary

Colliers Engineering & Design seeks a senior consulting leader to guide and expand our Fiber Utility Design practice in Michigan. Located near one of our offices, you will drive growth, manage client relationships, and lead delivery across multiple offices.

The role focuses on strategic leadership, financial performance, and staff development, while expanding markets and services in fiber and utility design. You will mentor teams and shape the next phase of growth for the practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 15+ years of progressive experience in fiber utility design, utility infrastructure, broadband, or related consulting services.
• Strong leadership with multi-office experience and client relationship skills.
• Experience developing scalable processes, QA/QC practices, and staff development programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the fiber UDE discipline with accountability for financial performance and growth.
• Develop growth strategy for fiber utility design in existing and new markets.
• Oversee technical delivery, QA/QC, and project scope, schedule, and budgets.
• Mentor managers and staff, build scalable processes, and drive cross-office collaboration.
