Engineered Floors in Dalton, GA is seeking a Twister Operator to supply the twisting machine with raw fiber, monitor the process, and ensure the quality of the product. You will verify labels, doff packages, refill yarn, and maintain the machine per the spec sheets.

The role requires standing for long periods, manual dexterity, and the ability to lift 12-20 lb packages. Overtime and strict adherence to safety guidelines are common expectations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to lift 12-20 lb packages per shift.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Overtime availability.

Responsabilités

• Supply twisting machine with raw fiber and monitor the process.
• Patrol, service, and monitor the twisting machine and product quality.
• Doff TNH packages per the doff schedule.
• Refill the bucket with raw yarn from the yarn buggy.
• Replace empty yarn tubes with replacement packages.
• Verify case labels against machine spec sheets.
• Tag positions needing repair and repair promptly.
• Tie creel yarn with appropriate knots and secure caps as required.
• Keep work area clean and adjust setup per supervisor instructions.
