Job summary

Star Construction, LLC. is hiring a Laborer Telecom Aerial to support an Aerial Telecom Crew in the installation and maintenance of fiber/telecom cables and materials in Kentucky. This field position offers hourly pay and opportunities for growth.

You will be performing material handling, equipment movement, and safety-related tasks as part of a team. The role requires a valid driver's license and the ability to work in all weather conditions across multiple KY locations.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent (or relevant work experience).
• Valid state driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Certified pole climber or willingness to become certified.
• Previous labor experience in telecommunications is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide tools, parts, and materials to crew members as needed.
• Reposition or move bucket trucks, trailers, or equipment as directed.
• Ensure door-tagging and resident notifications for construction activities are completed before starting work each day.
• Stock, clean, and maintain all company vehicles and equipment.
• Perform hand digging using shovels and mechanical tools.
• Direct/flag traffic flow in line with local DOT guidelines.
• Work overtime, travel, and perform on-call/afterhours responsibilities as needed.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
