Job summary

North Sky Communications is seeking a Laborer Telecom Aerial to support an Aerial Telecom Crew with installing and maintaining fiber/telecom cables and materials. You will provide tools, parts, and materials to crew members and help move equipment to job sites.

The role requires basic labor experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work in various weather conditions. Overtime, travel, and on-call duties may be required as part of the job.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
• Valid state driver's license with clean driving record.
• Certified pole climber or willing to become certified.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Experience in telecommunications labor is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide tools, parts, and materials to crew members as needed
• Reposition or move bucket trucks, trailers, or equipment as directed
• Ensure door-tagging and resident notifications before starting work
• Stock, clean, and maintain company vehicles and equipment
• Perform hand digging using shovels and mechanical tools
• Direct/flag traffic flow in line with local DOT guidelines
• Work overtime, travel, and perform on-call/afterhours responsibilities as needed
• Perform work in all weather conditions
• Other duties as assigned
