Job summary

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in fiber optics, telecommunications, structured cabling, or low-voltage installations.
• Experience with fiber termination, splicing, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of OTDRs, power meters, fiber testing equipment, and cable certification tools.
• Ability to read blueprints and telecommunications drawings.
• Experience in commercial, industrial, telecommunications, or data center environments preferred.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.
• Fusion Splicing, OSP Fiber Construction, Aerial & Underground Fiber, MDF/IDF Buildouts, Data Centers, Certifications (BICSI/FOA/CFOT/OSHA)

• Complete project documentation and maintain quality and safety standards.
• Lead small crews and assist with coordinating daily field activities.

This role will support the installation, termination, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of fiber optic and copper cabling systems while assisting with project execution and mentoring junior technicians.

Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, splice, and test single-mode and multi-mode fiber optic cabling.
• Perform OTDR testing, fiber certification, troubleshooting, and fault isolation.
