Job summary

Metronet is hiring a Fiber Technician in Carmel, IN to install and service fiber internet and phone for residential and business customers. You will troubleshoot from the fiber terminal to CPE, educate customers on services, and contribute to achieving performance metrics.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, willingness to travel as needed, and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs. Company vehicle and tools provided. Join a growing team delivering 100% fiber-optic services.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience with telecom/fiber preferred but not required.
• Physical ability to work kneeling/standing for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Install and troubleshoot Metronet services from the terminal to Customer Premise Equipment (CPE).
• Provide in-depth customer education on Metronet products and services.
• Earn commissions by explaining Metronet services and products to customers.
• Maintain professional conduct with customers and colleagues.
• Work toward meeting key performance metrics.
• Perform other duties as requested.
