Location:

The role is based at our Buhler Office: 111 Old Mill Lane, Buhler, Kansas.

Opportunity:

As we grow, we seek a Fiber Technician to support operations in surrounding communities. If you’re hardworking, passionate about problem-solving, and committed to high customer service, this might be your role!

Daily Responsibilities:

1. Deliver fiber to home installations and repairs
2. Troubleshoot customer connection issues
3. Install and repair VOIP services for residential and business customers
4. Handle installations and repairs independently
5. Provide an exceptional customer experience—friendly, patient, efficient, knowledgeable about FTTP, gateways, and WiFi
6. Work with aerial and underground fiber networks
7. Install drops from the service terminal to the home or business

Minimum Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• At least 2 years of work experience
• Valid driver’s license with no restrictions
• Availability for on-call rotation including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Flexibility to work Saturday and/or Sunday
• Ability to work outdoors in various conditions, including climbing ladders or operating a bucket truck (max weight 350 lbs)
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs

Preferences:

• Experience in telecommunications
• Flexible schedule availability (e.g., Tuesday-Saturday)
