Job summary

Armstrong is hiring a motivated Broadband Technician to install, troubleshoot and repair our Internet and telephone services for homes and businesses. You will work with cutting-edge fiber-optic technology in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

Responsibilities include installing voice/data services, maintaining vehicle inventory, and following safety guidelines. Some on-call and shift work may be required to ensure reliable service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; advanced IT/electronics education is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to pass BPI certification within 12 months.
• Physical ability to bend, climb, sit and lift over 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot and repair Internet and telephone services for residential and commercial customers.
• Work with fiber-optic technology in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
• Perform safety-conscious installations and follow guidelines.
• Maintain vehicle inventory and complete all paperwork promptly.
• Participate in on-call and shift work as required.
