Job summary

Armstrong Utilities is seeking a Broadband Technician to install, troubleshoot, and repair voice and data services for residential and commercial customers. You will work with cutting-edge fiber-optic technology in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, a high school diploma (IT/electronics a plus), and the ability to pass BPI certification within 12 months. Physical work in various weather conditions and periodic on-call duties are expected.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• High school diploma (advanced IT/electronics education a plus).
• Customer-first approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to pass BPI certification within 12 months.
• Physical ability to bend, climb, sit, lift 50+ lbs and work in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Install and troubleshoot voice and data services using test equipment and safety guidelines.
• Maintain vehicle inventory and safety compliance.
• Perform physical tasks such as climbing, digging, and drilling as needed.
• Provide timely paperwork and feedback to improve services.
• Participate in on-call and shift work as required.
