Electric Power Systems (EPS) is seeking an experienced Fiber Splicing Technician to terminate, splice, document, and test fiber optic lines within customer networks. The role requires five years of experience and familiarity with EXFO fiber equipment, with travel required.

Candidates should read blueprints, follow safety standards, and possess strong communication and organizational skills; associates or technical degree preferred; willingness to travel.

• Five years of fiber splicing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform fiber tests with OTDRs, light source and meters.
• Terminate, splice, bonds/grounds and test fiber optic equipment to standards.
• Install fiber optic equipment and patch panels.
• Read blueprints and work scopes.
• Ensure safety standards are followed.
