Forged Fiber is seeking a Fiber Tech II - Splicing Technician to install, splice, test, and troubleshoot fiber optic cable across our networks. The role supports construction, operations, maintenance, and emergency restoration with emphasis on safety and quality.
Location is 4150 E Bell Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85032. Candidates should be able to read construction prints and work outdoors in varying conditions, including reading maps and splices, with or without supervision.
Responsibilities
- Install, splice, and test fiber optic cable for construction projects including maintenance and restoration.
- Troubleshoot fiber faults with OTDR, optical power meter, fiber identifiers, scope, and fault finder; document results.
