Job summary

Future Infrastructure, LLC, a Primoris Company, is seeking an experienced fiber splicer to install and maintain outdoor and indoor fiber networks in Tyler, Texas. You will splice SM/MM fiber, prepare and route cabling, read splice maps, and perform live cut-overs during maintenance windows.

The ideal candidate has 1-3 years of fiber splicing and testing experience, ability to work day/night shifts, and the physical stamina to lift up to 75 lbs.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of fiber splicing and testing experience.
• Proficient use/maintenance of fusion machines, OTDRs, power meters and related tools.
• Ability to read, understand and update splice documentation/maps.
• Willingness to work a 7 day/24 hour on-call rotation as needed.

Responsibilities

• Splice SM/MM outside plant and inside plant operations per specs.
• Prepare, dress, and store fiber optic cabling to specifications.
• Perform live fiber cut-overs during maintenance hours.
