Job summary

Pauley Construction, LLC is seeking a Fiber Splicer I to join our field crews in Phoenix, AZ. This role involves splicing overhead, underground, or submarine cables and working from blueprints and maps to ensure proper connections and alignment with safety standards.

Ideal candidates have 0–1+ years of fiber splicing experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to lift up to 80 lbs. The position is field-based with potential OT and travel as required.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• 0–1+ years fiber splicer experience preferred.
• Must pass company drug screening and background check.

Responsibilities

• Splice overhead, underground or submarine cables as directed.
• Climb poles or towers and operate lift-bucket as needed.
• Expose and access cables by cutting sheath and insulation.
• Test conductors using test lamp or bell system to identify connections.
• Interpret drawings, maps, blueprints and diagrams accurately.
