Job summary

Dycom Industries, Inc is seeking a Fiber Splicer to fuse optical fibers for our growing telecommunications network. You will perform aerial and underground splicing, test circuits, and document work performed.

This role requires climbing poles or working at heights, a valid driver's license, 18+ age, and a DOT medical card. On-site duties include daily reports and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• High School Diploma or GED or related experience.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• DOT medical card; able to pass physical.
• 6 months splicing or 1 year telecom experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform aerial and underground fiber splicing with guidance.
• Test, activate, and troubleshoot post-install circuits.
• Ensure splicing meets industry standards and safety rules.
• Work at heights and travel to job sites.
• Document daily reports and material usage.
• Assist with basic vehicle maintenance.
• Other duties as assigned.
