Job summary

Lambert's Cable is hiring a Fiber Splicer to upgrade and splice cables both aerial and underground. You will test, activate, and troubleshoot the network post-installation while ensuring quality and safety standards.

The role requires 6 months of splicing experience or 1 year in telecommunications, plus a valid driver’s license and a DOT medical card. Training is provided and competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 6 months of splicing experience or 1 year in telecommunications
• DOT physical exam and valid medical card required
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

Responsibilities

• Perform cable upgrades and splicing tasks, both aerial and underground
• Test, activate, and troubleshoot the network post-installation
• Ensure splicing operations meet customer and industry standards
• Document work through daily production reports and maps
• Complete basic daily maintenance of vehicles and equipment
