Job summary

US Tech Solutions is seeking a skilled engineer/designer for a 12‑month assignment in New York focused on fiber plant design and related construction knowledge. The role requires experience in telecommunications, data networking or wireless, and strong computer skills including Word, Excel, Visio, ArcGIS/ESRI, 3GIS and Google Earth.

You will work with the network plant and local practices, handle engineering systems and databases, and apply right-of-way and permit knowledge to project needs.

Qualifications

• Fiber plant design and general construction knowledge.
• Experience in telecommunications, data networking, or wireless.
• Strong computer skills with MS Office suite and GIS tools.
• Knowledge of the network plant and local practices.
• Experience with engineering systems and databases.
• Working knowledge of right-of-way, property rights, and permit acquisition.
