Job summary

Race Communications in Farmersville, CA, is seeking an OSP Project Manager to oversee outside plant fiber optic projects, coordinating with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to deliver on time, within budget, and to high quality standards.

Qualifications

• Eligibility for US Employment without sponsorship.
• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• High School Graduate, GED, or equivalent.
• A valid driver’s license, subject to successful verification through a DMV check.
• 3+ years of experience as an OSP Project Manager or equivalent.
• Telecommunications industry experience preferred.
• Knowledge of GO95 rules for OSP construction/maintenance.
• CDL Class A or B preferred but not required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Applications, Google Earth KMZs, AutoCAD, Excel.
• Ability to travel to multiple sites, overtime, weekends, or on-call as needed.
• Strong English communication (speaking, reading, writing).

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple large-scale fiber optic construction projects from initiation to completion.
• Direct and coordinate OSP teams, contractors, and vendors to achieve goals.
• Lead recurring project meetings to align cross-functional teams and track progress.
• Conduct final inspections and close-out packages.
• Ensure milestones and deliverables meet schedules and budgets.
• Supervise projects to ensure timelines and record-keeping.
