Job summary

Ledcor Technical Services is seeking a Designer to deliver detailed OSP fiber and copper designs for telecom projects. You'll collaborate with the engineering team to produce constructible GPON designs using AutoCAD and related tools, while supporting field staff with quality control.

This role blends office work with occasional site visits and offers growth within a growing North American network contractor. Remote start, transitioning to in-office in Florence, KY.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in OSP telecommunications or related field using AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, Google Earth, Bluebeam and Adobe.
• GIS is a plus and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Design fiber optic and copper OSP networks for FTTH deployments and commercial developments.
• Work with power company and design power route and one-line schematics.
• Manage growth and sustainment of existing networks, including relocations.
• Perform quality control, field checks, and interpret OSP records.
• Create system designs, BOMs, and provide construction quotes.
• Conduct site walks for data collection and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Adapt within a dynamic work environment.
