You will partner with production, quality, and maintenance teams to ensure high-quality output and cost efficiency.

The role emphasizes process documentation, SOP development, and collaboration with R&D on new designs, while leading Lean and Six Sigma initiatives to reduce waste and improve throughput.

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with SPC and data analysis tools.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and improve manufacturing processes for fiber optic cable production.
  • Analyze process data to identify inefficiencies and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, including SOPs and work instructions.
  • Collaborate with Quality Assurance to resolve defects and maintain product integrity.
  • Work with vendors on equipment upgrades and maintenance strategies.
  • Collaborate with R&D on process requirements for new fiber optic cable designs.
  • Lead Lean and Six Sigma initiatives to reduce waste and improve throughput.
  • Support cost reduction projects without compromising quality.
  • Provide technical support to production teams for process-related issues.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement permanent solutions.
