Job summary

Moog Inc. in Cleveland, OH is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer to join the Space & Defense – Power & Data Group.

The role focuses on supporting Simplex, Complex Fiber Cable, and Transceiver production floors, improving throughput, and ensuring reliability across aerospace and industrial environments. The engineer will manage CAD models, BOMs, and process documentation, provide hands-on training, and collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to advance production capability.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of manufacturing or mechanical engineering experience.
• CAD design experience in a manufacturing environment preferred (SolidWorks).

Responsibilities

• Provide operational support for production floors across Simplex, Complex Fiber Cable, and Transceiver areas.
• Design and manage CAD models, drawings, layouts, work instructions, and fixtures for production.
• Manage ERP build procedures, BOMs, and data analysis to improve throughput.
• Lead engineering projects with budget, time, and resource planning for process improvements.
• Support sales with manufacturability input and customer-facing technical data.
