Job summary

Dynetek Solutions is seeking a Groundman to support fiber and telecommunications crews in the safe installation, maintenance, and repair of aerial and underground networks. Working from ground level, you prepare sites, handle tools and materials, and assist with pole placement and FTTH projects.

This is a physically demanding, safety‑critical entry point into a skilled trades career in utilities and telecom.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of related telecommunications or construction experience.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license; CDL is a plus.
• Ability to safely work at heights and around energized lines.
• Willingness to travel and work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of an overhead and/or underground crew under supervision.
• Load, unload, lay out, and prepare tools, supplies, and equipment.
• Assist with fiber optic and coaxial plant construction and repair.
• Support pole placement, ADSS installation, and overhead operations.
• Assist with trenching, conduit work, fiber pulling, and site restoration.
