Verità Telecommunications Corporation in Northville, MI seeks a Full Time Fiber Pulling and Support Technician to assist with installation and routing of fiber optic cable on telecommunications projects. You will work outdoors, pulling through conduit, aerial pathways, and underground systems while upholding safety, quality, and schedules.

Responsibilities include supporting splicing crews, reading drawings, maintaining sites and records, operating vehicles, and following OSHA and customer

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience in telecommunications construction or fiber optic installation preferred.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
• Travel to project sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Pull, route, and secure fiber optic cables through underground conduit systems, aerial pathways, and building entrances.
• Assist with cable placement, duct rodding, and pulling operations using hand tools and mechanical equipment.
• Support fiber splicing and testing crews by preparing cables, organizing materials, and maintaining job sites.
• Install innerduct, conduit, handholes, vaults, and cable support systems as required.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, maps, and work orders.
• Perform site preparation, cleanup, and restoration activities.
• Collaborate with project managers, supervisors, and field crews to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Identify and report potential hazards, utility conflicts, and project issues.
