Job summary

EOA Technologies LLC is seeking a Cable Technician to install, route, and terminate fiber optic and copper cables in commercial, industrial, and government-related settings. This role involves precise terminations, equipment operation, and safety compliance on diverse work sites.

The technician will work under the supervision of a Foreman or Project Manager, leveraging testing equipment to ensure quality, and will document routes and test results while supporting team collaboration on project

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph clearance required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in cable pulling/termination preferred; on-the-job training provided.
• Physical requirements: lift 44 lbs., stand long periods, work at heights over 20’.
• Licenses/certifications: valid driver’s license; OSHA 10/30 or similar certifications a plus.

Responsibilities

• Pull, route, and install fiber optic, coaxial, and Ethernet cables.
• Perform terminations and install connectors, patch panels, and hardware.
• Prepare work areas and mark installation locations.
• Operate fiber optic and copper testing equipment safely.
• Inspect and test installed cables for performance and reliability.
• Document routes, lengths, termination points, and test results.
• Collaborate with Foreman/Project Manager and team to resolve issues.
