Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an IT Network Infrastructure Technician for the weekend shift to install and certify fiber and copper cabling and related network hardware at Cape Canaveral, FL. You will support a range of telecommunications infrastructure for launch operations, including fiber, copper, and RF systems.

The role covers installation, testing, documentation, and collaboration with the team to troubleshoot issues, read diagrams, and ensure proper signal integrity and equipment readiness for

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
• 2+ years of experience installing, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing fiber optics, copper cabling (RF, Ethernet), network and telephony installation, and audio/video systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, test, troubleshoot, and document test results for fiber, network, audio, video, and RF cabling.
• Install, test, and troubleshoot audio, video, and RF equipment.
• Install cable pathways systems (cable trays, racks, J-hooks, D-rings).
• Install, terminate, test, label, and document horizontal and backbone cables.
• Build out telecommunication rooms and equipment rooms.
• Read and interpret planning documents, schematics, and drawings.
• Collaborate with team to troubleshoot failures and analyze test data.
