Job summary

Forged Fiber is seeking a Network Implementation Engineer II to support OSP network design, finance processes, and regulatory coordination across multiple projects. You will manage engineering requests within a geographic area and work with vendors, city officials, and internal teams to ensure on-time project execution.

The role requires an Associate degree or equivalent experience and 5–7 years in telecom/engineering.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience.
• 5–7 years of telecommunications, engineering, or network planning experience.
• Strong proficiency with engineering systems and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and communicate effectively with internal and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and update Engineering Work Orders for fiber builds and upgrades.
• Review design prints and redlines to ensure accuracy.
• Develop OSP designs in 3GIS and use AutoCAD/CAD, Ivaula, Netsuite, Sitetracker, and MS Office.
• Process invoices, validate financial documents, and resolve discrepancies.
• Coordinate with vendors, developers, builders, and municipalities on requirements and timelines.
• Engage with city departments to secure permits and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support Engineering II and Senior Engineers and update records as needed.
