Job summary

Forged Fiber is seeking a Network Implementation Engineer I to support OSP network design, financial processes, and regulatory coordination across multiple projects. You will collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and city officials to ensure timely, compliant project execution.

The role requires an Associate degree or equivalent, 4–7 years of telecommunications or network planning experience, and proficiency with 3GIS, OSP tools, and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience.
• 4–7 years of telecommunications, engineering, or network planning experience.
• Strong proficiency with engineering systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and update Engineering Work Orders for new builds, upgrades, relocations, and fiber deployments.
• Review design prints and redlines; apply corrections to ensure accuracy and construction readiness.
• Develop OSP designs in 3GIS and utilize tools such as AutoCAD/CAD systems, Ivaula, Netsuite, Sitetracker, and Microsoft Office.
• Process invoices, validate financial documentation, and resolve discrepancies.
• Coordinate with vendors, developers, builders, and municipalities on project requirements and timelines.
• Engage with city departments to secure permits and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support Engineering II and Senior Engineers and complete record updates as needed.
